Who We Are

I'm Carly
Every individual who is alive has a story. Their story is unique to them as a person; No single person experiences life in the same way as another. While each person can have similarities between what they experience, the perspective it is seen in and how it impacts them is vastly different. These stories, the ups and downs, create the very base of who each person is as an individual.
I believe that healing happens through safe, meaningful relationships. As an attachment-based trauma-focused therapist, my job is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and truly accepted without judgment. I recognize that relationships throughout life impact the way we understand ourselves, others, and interact with the world around us.
My approach is eclectic, pulling from multiple modalities to best support the individual sitting across from me. From art therapy to DBT approaches, I attune to the individual in the room and believe in collaborative sessions. Instead of focusing on symptoms of struggle, I strive to understand the entire person for who they are at their core. I believe therapy is a journey of moving through the darkness to get to a place of healing, understanding, and further connection with others. My goal is to walk alongside of each person who comes into my office with curiosity and compassion and make known they do not need to navigate the journey alone.
I specialize with children and teens; this stems from believing that the earlier processing and healing occurs, the greater success later in life.
